Two films made by ICFFCY Youth team.

"Drawing a smile"; "The fish has flown away”:

In October 2009 ICFFCY during the Children and Youth Film Festival gathered a group of teenagers to participate in a film workshop led by Julie Sandor on children's rights. The first film of the Youth Team, "Drawing a Smile" was made. The film was given The European Youth Excellence Award in Filmmaking of ÉCU 2012.

The great experience of sharing thoughts and ideas through film creation continued until June 2012 when the final project  "The fish has flown away" ended.

Epic and colorful surrealistic journey of four teenagers grounded into Cyprus, The fish has flown away is the result of unexpected collaborations between youth, intellectuals, workers, migrants... in one word: People of Cyprus. The fish has flown away has been supported by the EU representation in Cyprus.
