WATW Photo Challenge EXTENDED

Where are the Women?” Photo Challenge deadline has been extended to April 25th!

We welcome submissions that will address:

  • the lack of gender equality in the peace building efforts,

  • the need for a solution that embraces and safeguards gender equality.

Your photograph should include a written message (in any of the three languages; English, Greek or Turkish) that should address one or both of the themes above, using creative ways or materials!

The aims of this challenge include raising awareness on the lack of representation of women in the Cyprus peace process and encouraging more women to get involved. Social media users are encouraged to share the photos in order to reach a greater audience.

The best 10 submissions will be selected by a committee and exhibited at various places around the island!

Call for participation in MYCYradio Focus Group

Under the stewardship of Prof Nico Carpentier, and with the aim of getting to know the audience of MYCYradio, CCMC is calling on its listeners to participate in structured Focus Groups during the week of 22-25 April. CCMC Trainings

Our summer training session has started! Last Thursday we had our "Newsletter Creation" training where participants learned how to master the art of newsletter development through the MailChimp website. The workshop taught participants of the importance of a newsletter for organisations, showed examples of newsletters and went through the process of creating one. This training allowed participants to create a mailing list and develop their own newsletter which was then sent to the list. Participants then commented on the newsletters created by their counterparts and allowed discussion on content as well as format.

Next training session is the Audio Production and Podcasting workshop on Friday 5/7, Photography workshop on Thursday 11/7 and Strategic Communications, Campaigning and Advocacy on 18/7. Hope to see you all there!
